Fish are so much fun to paint!
The body of the trout is created using the wet-on-wet technique, followed by a wet-on-dry layer for detailing. The gradient through the middle is what will be the focus of the wet painting. The details are added with a fine detailed brush once the body is dry. Using watercolor paint to create a trout of your choice.
